Hi, I just started the Candida diet. It has only been 5 days but seems like 50. My major issue with candida was my bloated stomach. No one knows it may take a couple weeks or a couple months. I’m 3 months into the protocol and now I’m starting to feel symptom free and good overall. You have to be patient and give it time. When you kill candida, it causes die-off…this is very similar to flu-like symptoms. This should last about 1-4 months or so depending on how well you progress. Expect a timeline of 6-18 months to fully recover from candida overgrowth.
What supplements are you taking? What brand probiotics? Have you seen the forum’s protocol that we created?
Hopefully you’ll start seeing results after the die-off ends, it can be quite debilitating.

Hi Trish, I know the feeling. The first 10 days was the toughest for me. I have been on the Candida diet for two months now and feel much better but definitely not 100%. My diet isn’t as strict as it was when I first started and there is still gradual improvement. Everyone is different. Most of my symptoms are gone but I still have leaky gut syndromes which I’m working on now. Maybe you have it too because you listed bloatedness as your biggest concern? I’m bloated all the time, especially when I have meat. Does that do it for you too?
