Good day!
I bought few days ago glucometer and now i have tested my blood sugar couple of days.
Results are 4.2-6.1 mmoll/l
I read that normal range is 3,5-5,5 mmol/l
Should i try to hold this level lower on candida diet?
Does anybody also have glucometer and experiments with it?
Blood sugar is maintained by the body through a number of mechanisms. Insulin is the most important of these.
Do not try to mess with blood sugar levels. Too low is dangerous, too high is dangerous too. If you try to mess with your blood sugar, the body will do everything it can to restore the levels to normal.
Floggi is right.
A blood sugar level that is higher than 6 tends to diabetes, higher than 6.9 is diabetes (on an empty stomach). As long as you don’t have a risk of having diabetes, you shouldn’t be concerned about your blood sugar levels. It’s the stability of your blood sugar that is important.
