    Hi every one i have introduced buckwheat this week’ as much needed as a filler it is a very good food source.But can also see that it is very high in starch’ how are we allowed to eat this high starch food!! thank you for help.

    Buckwheat is on the stricter diet because of (1) research studies such as this one as reported in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and (2) because a certain amount of complex carbohydrates are needed for general health and energy output.

    Buckwheat is only 25% starch whereas brown rice is 90%+ starch…so its relatively healthy when compared to the alternatives. Brown rice is ok’d on nearly every candida diet except for our forum diet.
