    Hi Everyone,

I had a Dr. run extensive stool tests for me which measured all my bacteria gut and said that I had a Lactobacillus sp. and Clostridia sp. overgrowth, Apparently to bring the population of these 2 bacterias in check we are to supplement with Bifidobacter sp. and Saccharomyces boulardii
    probiotics, respectively…

Well I started with a product called Align which has the Bifidobacter sp but reacted badly to it! 🙁 …. Found out today that Align contains milk and off course I am lactose intolerant, So I am not going to continue with Align,

So my question is: Can you recommend any products for supplementing either Saccharomyces boulardii and Bifidobacter that you have not had bad reactions to? and if yes, what are those products???

    Thanks so much

I’d look at the standard process probiotic called prosynbiotic, it has both the types of yeast you are looking at:

It does contain some lactobacillus strains though so am unsure whether this will negatively impact your treatment.

For what it’s worth, I found this article that says S.B. will increase the population of Bifido. so I guess if I just take S.B. I won’t even have to worry about taking a separate supplement for bifidobacteria.

It’s in the section “How does Saccharomyces boulardii work?”
