A holistic doctor suggested me taking a broad organic acid test, more specific the one from great plains lab.
He claims to find out what the root problem is with it, but all i see on the internet is when it comes to candida is that people have high arabinose. It’s a substance convert from arabinitol, a alcohol that candida spp. produces. This information is not useful for me, since other tests show that i have candida – but is there anything else this test can do that might link to the cause of candida overgrowth?
And are there any labs out there that are FDA approved that do a organic acid test? The reason being is that I often show tests to my normal doctors, and if the lab is not certified or approved by a governmental organization, or do lab work for the normal hospitals etc. it is hard to make it trustworthy.
