    Hi Tanyanurse,

I recall asking this question quite a while ago myself and the response I received was generally most people with this health issue don’t do well with nuts and try to see how I tolerate them.

Well I love mixed nuts and seeds as much as the next person, but I had real bad reactions with Almonds and Cashews. Cashews gave me brain fog and almonds bothered my stomach. So I don’t eat either of those or any other nuts for that matter. However, I don’t have reactions from any seeds I have tried. I seem to tolerate flax seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds ok, but I don’t eat them too often as I don’t think they should be a staple of our diet.

If its a one time thing then not a big deal but if you want to consume daily, I would soak in water for 24 hours first to remove the molds.
