I have had candida for seven months now off and on. I did two rounds of meds which didn’t work, then decided to take a natural approach. Did Candistroy and diet and really thought it was gone. but now it seems worse and came back yesterday quickly. I feel sick at my stomach and wonder if I did the right thing.
My question is, Does one need to do all the things listed on he cleanse, diet, die off and such or choose what they want to do? I need help here! I really want this to be gone forever as it has really effected my life in,many areas. I did Candistroy and coconut oil and no sugars, even eliminated some fruits for a time. Last week I was feeling great and now sick. Thought I had it licked, but need a bit more guidance on how to make this work. Please explain……does one do ALL the things listed or just choose one from each list, like one detox method, one supplement, and so on.
Thanks!April 26, 2012 at 4:00 am #80090

Well, I think the mistake I tend to make, and with me a lot of other people suffering from candida is to view it as an allopathic problem that we need to kill. As if it is a bacteria that we can get rid of by forcing our will on it. In trying to deal with candida for 2 years now and following this forum for months, I am beginning to think that if we want to ‘beat’ the candida, which is internal unbalance, we have to correct the unbalance in our life, wether that is stress, environment, toxicity, suppression, depression and so on… or it will come back every time we feel off.
There is a scary lack of succes stories online because there is no set way to truly ‘cure’ the candida. Sure you can nuke your body with supplements and probiotics, and starve yourself with a monk diet, but if you are poisoning your body with worries about not healing and negative thoughts regarding the diet, then it doesnt matter what you do. You wont get better.
Also, each case is different, meaning we cant really say for sure what is best for you. There are only guidelines. The guidelines are great ont his forum though, but id advice you to follow them your way.
This leaves me to ask: what is the unbalance that caused your candida overgrowth?April 26, 2012 at 8:41 am #80110

All I gotta say is to check out the protocol:
This is likely a much better plan that the one you were doing before.
