Kefir is not the same as taking probiotics; you will need to take a high count of probiotics to get better (30-40 billion per day). Kefir only has a count in the millions. The big plus about kefir is that it contains more strains than most probiotics. If you are looking for the single biggest factor in your recovery, it’ll be what type and strength of probiotics you are taking.
