I’m wondering if I can strain some of the kefir grains/seeds (?) from the Kefir that I am buying in the store and use those to try and grow new Kefir from???

    Hello, Jackie.

Yes, you can do exactly that and reuse the grains. This is a link explaining how that’s done. Scroll down to the section titled, “Growing the Kefir Grains.”

I should be getting my kefir grains in the mail today. I am excited to start making my own kefir and looking forward to the added benefits and health I hope it brings me.

Best of luck making your kefir! 🙂
