Yesterday, I had another consult with the naturopath. I have tried many things in the past with good and bad results, not being very consistence, that is the reason I went with raster’s naturopath that focuses on my whole body compared to the doctor I saw last year.
we are definitely trying to monitor my symptoms, and how I react on things, since I have an extremely sensitive system. At first, I was taking some bitters, pleo ex and forte, a few supplements for anxiety and adrenal, pleo citro for allergies (helps a lot, I have not been having a stuffy nose and sinus problems at night), juniper berry for kidneys (my urine output is actually getting a little bit better on this stuff; I am so happy about that; flow is coming out a bit easier), digestive enzyme, sf722, and hmf forte. I think that is it for now. A lot of things.
we did decided that the sf722 might be too strong for me at the moment (calms my digestive system down, but then I feel constipated from using it; weird; anybody else experience that?), even though I have been trying to battle this thing all year. He is sending me phytostan currently right now that just has a small amount of undecycelnic acid that will be easier on me right now. As for probiotics, the hmf forte might be too much for me right now, but he said to keep on taking it, and if I can’t take it everyday, at least every couple days. I had been taking a lower dose one 6 billion from renew life at times, so I at least keep on taking that. Then, hopefully, once we get more the fungal down, keep on increasing and increasing the probiotics, and eventually just get to sf722.
The anxiety has died down a bit lately, so that is good. I have just been trying to take it easy though, too. I am going to start a per diem job next week, but I will work a lot at first to learn, so I hope I can keep my strength up! I haven’t worked in quite awhile due to all my surgeries, etc., and being very sick.
Also, I have tried really hard the past few days to keep my system alkaline because we are monitoring my pH. I did real good the past couple days by eating a lot of veggies, snacking on cucumbers, celery, and radishes. Ones that are the easiest on my system. Last night, I tried to make my own candida-veggie pizza. It came out alright, but I still need to tweak it.
Digestion still comes and goes, but I guess a little better feeling at night, still lots of work to do. I can still gas build-up, stomach fine, just intestines, and small gas smells like rotten eggs sometimes (yuck). I also noticed that I have been having some white in my stools. I don’t know if that is a sign of yeast leaving or not.
Plus, I know my anxiety goes up when my digestion is worked up. He is sending me more supplements, and made some changes. Plus, another remedy to help me sleep better because that is still a problem at times.
To help with die-off, too; I have been tanning about everyday to sweat out my toxins. It helps a lot!!!
If anyone has anymore recommendations, I would appreciate it. Also, what does anyone do when they feel the need to munch on something at night. If that happens, I just try to have some more veggies for a crunch, but I prefer not to eat at night after supper; bad for digestion. You feel more refreshed waking up the morning resting your digestion system. Anyway to prevent a munchy? Also, does anyone know of any safe breath fresher because I don’t want to do those artificial breath mints. I love minty breath, and it perks me up; peppermint. Most the time I brush my teeth again, but what if I am on the go?
Thanks everyone!!June 7, 2013 at 5:34 pm #105907

Good stuff kjones…you are just at the beginning of your journey, so its going to be tough starting out but in time things will get better, hopefully quickly. Be sure to drink plenty of water and I wouldn’t stress about the pH thing too much because the body will adjust to the correct levels. If you overdo the pH stuff, you kidneys won’t like it.

Yeah, it’s still tough, and I know now I am really beginning the journey of healing. No, I haven’t worried too much about the pH, but I have been trying real hard this week to eat veggies, etc. because my digestion system gets wilded up. I hope that it gets better quickly, too. I trust the doctor.June 7, 2013 at 7:48 pm #105916

You can chew fennel seeds as breath-fresheners. Good to hear you’re having some progress.
