My nutritionist is a big fan of coffee enema as a liver cleanse. I have tried it a few times. Not sure what I think. I couple if times I felt the caffeine effect. What do you guys think?June 4, 2013 at 7:38 pm #105650

Coffee/caffeine goes into the bloodstream through a coffee enema the same as it does when you drink it. Caffeine is one of the major stress inducers when it comes to crashing the adrenals. During a Candida treatment, you need to build your adrenals/immune system, not damage them further.June 4, 2013 at 7:40 pm #105652

I would do a water enema or baking soda instead.

I have done daily coffee enemas for 10 months.
So I guess I’m some kind of expert 🙂
The fact that You feel the caffeine is because Your intestines have absorbed the coffee.
To avoid this You need to be hydrated.
I used to drink two big glasses of water first thing in the morning and then do the coffee enema.
Also important is to have empty bowels, so You can hold it for 15 minutes.
