    Hi everyone…

I noticed that Thomas has stated he also has (or had?) some urinary problems along with the other more common candida-related symptoms… Has anyone else had the same?

I have the same issue, which has been troubling me, as I do not know if it is related to candida or something else entirely. Over the past several months, much as my other symptoms had progressed, I also found myself having to urinate more and more often – a great pressure to do so, the ‘flow’ is not the same, and even what I felt to be some light pain or pressure in my kidney areas.

I’ve been very strictly on the diet for 12 weeks now and, although some of my other symptoms (fatigue, brain fog) have improved, this one hasn’t.

I’ve recently had a urinalysis and a urine culture, both of which showed everything to be completely normal. I also had blood tests which supposedly show that my kidneys and prostate are functioning normally.

I’ve read a few articles and studies that candidiasis can be related to prostatitis as well as fungal urinary tract infections.

Anyone else? Maybe this is somehow unrelated, although it’s progressed simultaneously?

    Hi mate,
yes it was me and I wonder too if not more people here suffer from it. Your confusion about is it candida or not is my confusion too. I still have it. But not all the time which is wirred too. I can have a, I call it, piss problem free day. Or maybe even a week and suddenly the pipe is burning while I am peeing. Then when I am done it feels it will continue forever but nothing comes, and still the burning. Then when i have my trousers on again I get a stupid feeling that someone or something wants to play with my bladder so I start contracting my muscles in fear to wet my pants. That is shit stressful and makes me total body concious.

Then suddenly it is gone and I am free again for some days or a week. Then it comes back. I don’t know if fungus is just then dying in that area and the body eliminates it with a slide inflammation???? I can have itching i the anus like crazy too, but not all the time again. Some days are like hell and then i have peace for 3 days or hours. Then again. Same with the urinary tract. Strange!!

I am sorry to hear that you have to suffer it too. But at the same time I am sorry to say that I am happy not to be alone brother.

Keep going!!! We will make it!
    cheers
    Thomas

Hyper-urination and urgency to urinate are classic symptoms of CRC.
Don’t know why ??? The intestinal inflammation press the prostate and bladder.

Had this problem. But when I stoppt eating certain foods the problem whent away. The last thing I can rember that mayde me pee alot was “gluten-free oats” my body can’t handel any kind of corn it seems.

The worst thing was to wake up in the middel of the night to go to the bathroom. Destroyed my sleep and made the next day harder than usal.

This is a very normal symptom. I had the urinary burn as well. Able said it was a minor UTI (urinary tract infection), which is caused by inflammation.

After about 3-4 months on the diet and supplements, this finally went away completely. It was one of the last lingering symptoms for me and it was not chill!

I still wake up early and need to go to the bathroom. My naturopathic doctor has a homeopathic medicine I can take the prevent this.

I noticed garlic sorta made the burn worse. Anyone else notice this?

A great way to reduce inflammation is to go on either an anti-inflammatory diet (eating foods such as broccoli, fish, etc) or to take anti-inflammatory supplements such as vitamin C(with bioflavanoids) or cod liver oil. I take a type of cod liver oil that is fermented which has probiotic properties and a more natural ratio of vitamin D. It is very hard to purchase online and you cannot find it at your local vitamin store most likely.

Sorry to hear that you guys have had similar symptoms. I have to admit, though, I’m quite relieved to hear it. I’ve been so worried that I have some other disease, or prostate cancer or something of the like.

For me, the most difficult part of this illness is the inability to ever be very sure of anything (let alone explain it to someone else).

For what it’s worth, I never really got much burning except once or twice, just the insanely frequent pressure to urinate.

I’m just getting into that 3-4 month range of the diet now, Raster, so hopefully I’ll have a reaction similar to yours and this will start to fade.

    Thanks!
