So I’ve started taking biofilm inhibitors to allow antifungals to finally kill off my candida over growth. Hopefully. One of the enzymes purchased to help with biofilms is serrapeptase. Just noticed this one contains calcium. From what I’ve read calcium will feed the biofilms that protect candida. Kind of a weird thing for a biofilm disruptor to contain something that feeds these same biofilms. The brand is ‘Doctor’s Best’. Anyone had experience with said brand or a like that contains calcium or something of the like?
I don’t think that limiting your calcium intake is going to prevent biofilms. THere’s calcium in vegetables, milk, etc etc. I’m not sure why calcium is included in the supplement, but I wouldn’t worry about it 🙂
