Is brown rice syrup a good alternative to sugar for an anti candidia diet. The ingredients are Organic Brown rice and pre filtered water.. Sounds simple enough but Im really tring to kick this it the butt..
Nope; it’s still essentially sugar. The only alternatives that won’t promote candida growth are sweeteners that neither provide a wallop of carbs, nor harmful artificial chemicals. Stevia, xylitol, and nothing else.
You could also opt to simply omit sugar, without adding in alternative sweeteners. I have dealt with extreme sugar cravings through most of my life. Because of that, I decided to go sweetener-free. It’s been 3 1/2 weeks and I’m no longer craving sugar. Yes!! Totally worth it IMHO.
