Like I stated earlier, my first and only cheat week was at the 4 month period of my diet (so about 16 weeks or so). I did experience some minor leaky gut symptoms (such as the burn and bad stools) but it was quite better than before starting the diet.
I am also getting married soon (June 9th is the date) so I know what you are thinking about with drinking. All I will say is drink potato vodka if possible; expect to get drunk quite easily and I have no idea what kinds of symptoms you will feel after drinking it. Absolutely don’t touch wine; I would be very careful with the other hard alcohols.
