Well, it’s been a while since I posted an update on here.
I’ve been on the diet for just over a year now. Can’t quite believe I’ve lasted this long. I had been making pretty good progress overall. I also had a good rest over the summer with some serious beach time which helped quite a bit. However, back in November, I ate some rice rolls, a bowl of noodles, and some garbanzo beans and it set off my itchy rash, some slight nausea, and fungus on my toe nail. It’s taken me about a month to get over the rash, although I still occasionally feel nauseous. Not sure whether that’s partly die-off or not. I’m mostly taking garlic and ginger caps, olive leaf extract, black walnut, and milk thistle as antifungals, plus the regular probiotics. To be honest, I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a wall and am wondering what else I can do to try and kickstart the healing process to a higher degree.
I’ve also been thinking about doing a test, to see how bad my actual candida infection is. After an online search I finally found a place in my current location that does the Geneva Diagnostics testing. If anyone has done such a test, I’d be grateful if you could tell me how much it roughly cost, and which specific test you had done, and whether it was worth it or not.
