I think most would agree that following a strict candida diet sets you up to follow a healthy diet for the rest of your life even after the candida has been cleared out. Im not sure how others feel, but for me the driving factor in following a candida protocol is to be healthy and feel good again. It shouldnt be about getting cured so I can fall back into the same eating patterns that set me up to have candida in the first place.
I don’t think anyone on here want’s to be cured so they can eat like crap again one day. I can bet I speak for most people when I say that we’d just like to be able to have an occasional ____________________________(fill in the blank, for me it’s a cheese sandwich, or slice of cake). In addition to our healthy diet.
My goal is to get to a place of eating where I’m not totally freaked out if I have to attend a dinner somewhere.
