It was once said that taking bitters would reduce hypoglycemic episodes, but I might’ve experienced a contradictory effect yesterday upon taking half a dropper full after a meal. Hypoglycemia is basically what started my downward spiral of health that lead to a candida overgrowth diagnosis, but it has since drastically reduced in frequency after changing diet. It is worth noting that my blood sugar would be tested during these episodes and always read out normal, so it would almost be a “false-positive” effect. Thanks!
I’ve never heard or read of this happening before. But if you feel that the bitters caused hypoglycemia, you should stop using them. Although they help your digestion, liver, etc. it’s still possible to cure the infestation without them.
