2) I see in the ingredient list for probiotic i’m taking and all the other ones i’ve been looking at that it contains potato starch and that’s not allowed in the candida diet…should i not be taking these probiotics?
Potato starch is used as a natural binding material which contributes to the consistency of the probiotic powder. Some probiotics use silicon dioxide instead, but hopefully, there won’t be enough starch to make a difference as it’s not like eating a serving of mashed potatoes. Other members have used this Udo’s brand without problems.
