Thanks Chloe! This does help as i do think that this is the same as what they sell here as that “butter oil” thing. Can you look at this photo and tell me if this is what it looks like: http://www.coolinarika.com/recept/domace-maslo/ ? The explanation on how to make this “butter oil” (called maslo in my country, maslac is name for butter) on the page I posted sounds the same, you melt the butter, strain it and get just the oil portion out of it. The photo is a room temperature photo, it gets lighter in the fridge.
