It should be ‘oat bran’ actually.
The confusion comes into play because the oat bran is used similar to the way coconut flour is used, meaning for the most part we use it in making the coconut flour bread. But because of the texture, it can also be used as a hot or cold cereal.
Jo, to be honest I can’t tell you I’m 100% sure that you have the right thing since there are so many types of oat cereals, etc. Both packages on the site you linked to read “flakes” which doesn’t sound anything like we use here, but I have no way of know ing one way or the other for certain.
