It just won’t go away completely
I’m always amazed when someone who has been on the treatment for only a couple of months says, “It just won’t go away completely. “ But I guess I shouldn’t be since I’ve read it so often. You’re looking at a year or longer even ‘after’ all the symptoms have disappeared before you should feel safe as far as adding foods that will most definitely feed the Candida yeast which will always be in your intestines.
I’ve been Candida free for a year, and there are still certain foods I won’t eat because I believe they could still cause problems. One thing I’ve not eaten is dairy products which most definitely include butter. Of all things to test, this should be among the last right alongside sugar.
Foods you test should be foods considered ‘safe’ which means they add a benefit to a Candida treatment. Butter, for example, has absolutely no benefit for a Candida treatment since all it can do is supply food for the Candida.
These include such foods as dried beans, tomatoes, 1/2 Granny Smith apple and a very small amount of sweet potatoes, and possibly millet although there’s really no need for this because of the plentiful supply of similar foods on the diet.
