The symptoms I get from food reactions are swelling and pain and also sometimes mucous production like Raster has explained about. These happen within 10 minutes of eating the food and disappear within 2-3 hours. So I know exactly after eating something that is making me ill. I never felt this with butter (the tiny bit I ever had on my bread). I’ll stop eating now anyway as you explained, it is feeding the yeast.
As soon as I started feeling weird digestion-wise I was on this diet as I googled it straight away so it’s likely my candida wasn’t overgrowing for so long as others here.
Anyway I’m hoping to get tested next time at the doctor in case I’m coeliac and go from there.
And the reason I didn’t go back to eating everything was because I felt I was better but didnt trust the yeast! I stayed on the diet apart from that damn mistake at dinner the other night!
