I agree with what able has said.

As far as you personal treatment, you can get over candida overgrowth in as short of a time as little as 6 months if you do it correctly, it just takes the right supplements, planning, big budget, and determination. After you get over candida and are over die-off, you can then start breastfeeding your baby…you just should stop for a short period of time until you get better.

In your first post you mentioned you are takin acidophilus, but this is only one strain and likely a low count of bacteria (CFU). We recommend a high count, high strain probiotic that contains many more strains and over 20 billion cfu per capsule.

If you want to feel better and detox the candida toxins out of the body as quickly as possible, there are two ways to do this. One is to detox via the liver and support you liver as much as possible. You are not doing this from what I can gather and thus the toxins are not going anywhere. A different way to detox is via sweating by doing a steam room, sauna, hot tub, jacuzzi, or even hot bath. Sweating out the toxins via this method can completely eliminate die-off symptoms. Rashes can occur if your body is not detoxing properly (due to possible liver damage) so the body has to detox via a seperate method such as the skin.

If you are at your wits end and want a good doctor who can treat you and your baby, I know of a naturopath who is very good here in Oregon if you want me to forward his contact information. He treats people from China to Brazil and he can turn you around quickly so you can start breastfeeding again. It’ll cost some big bucks though.

As far as you scalp symptoms, you could have ringworm which is caused by both parasites and candida. This takes a long time to treat from my experience.
