I think steaming is ideal, but also not that interesting. I’m a fan of steaming rutabaga with cauliflower and then pureeing it all with oil and garlic and salt and pepper like mashed potatoes. I’ve also roasted them a few times, but my oven sucks, so not often. Otherwise, I sautee/fry fairly thin slices of it like home fries. I think boiling in general isn’t the best since you lose nutrients. Pre-boiling has never really occurred to me, but I guess if you’re working with a bad knife, it could be hard to cut up a rutabaga. Depending on where you live, you can probably get a decent-ish chef knife for fairly cheap.
Yeah, you’re right. I wish I had a better knife. I do have a giant butcher one but it always gets stuck half way through the stupid rutabaga lol. I’m going to try not to boil it cause I am worried boiling and baking is overkill and would remove some of the antifungal properties.
Question for you…. I’m having reeeeeeally bad body aches today. Like worse than I’ve had since the beginning. This has probably been my worst day since the first week I started this. My shoulders and neck are completely tight and I have flu like aches all over my body.
I’ve had absolute terrible constipation throughout this whole ordeal and nothing I’ve tried has really worked for me up until last night. Prior to last night, my die off wasn’t really that intense after I would take an antifungal or even eat some rutabaga.
Anyways I was routing around in my cupboard last night and I found a tea laxative from the same company that makes the throat coat. I must of bought it a long time ago and forgot. So I was like what the heck. With out getting into the specifics. It worked very very well and today I’m going through incredible die off.
Do you think it’s possible that I was so filled up with garbage that the candida was being protected by all the crap still in me so when I would take an antifungal it couldn’t get at the problem? And now that I’ve finally emptied all the garbage out of me, it’s allowing the treatment to actually get at the candida? I’m assuming this is probably why Able said getting rid of constipation at all costs is #1 priority….
