Yup, home made is your only choice. Pretty easy too. Just throw in chicken with whatever veggies you have and there you go. Using chicken legs instead of breast makes better broth IMO. Use up chicken (bake it or add to other meals) and veggies (spice it up and put some EVO on it) and you are left with broth.
FYI, I also save up water from cooking most veggies (pretty much anything besides spinach I think) and use that for soups or cooking rice/quinoa/millet/etc. Valuable minerals/vitamins are in that water so you are wasting it if you throw it away. Just pour it into a jar and put into the fridge until you need it. Cook up some chicken in it and you have a perfect broth 🙂
