This is the reason we’ve always recommended Ibuprofen on the forum if anyone needs pain medication during their treatment. The only negative factor is that Ibuprofen is still a NSAID drug, but the negative factors are more likely with long-term use.
Smitty, to answer your question, below is the link I posted last year. The first sentence reads, “Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, exhibited antimicrobial activity against Candida albicans and non-albicans strains.”
So as you see the drug exhibited its activity against other strains, but the report didn’t name the strains.
