Thank you each and everyone of you for your responses. Your words of advice and comfort have helped. I have kept this all to myself until now and sharing these problems with others who can understand and sympathise feels good. You are right that I still need to work on cutting non obvious sources of sugar from my diet such as starches. I do still overeat on carbohydrates, and I suspect that is my downfall. I try not to cut it out completely but when I allow it in my diet I find it hard to moderate it to a small amount. I am also a vegetarian, but do eat fish so it’s quite difficult to eat a very low carbohydrate diet. As it’s summer holiday from university I will try really hard to stick to the anti candida diet. Next week, I will try to cut down on the grains and things that turn to sugar in the body and see if that makes a difference. This skin problem was really the final straw for me. I have had so many symptoms physically and mentally from this candida, but this final thing has made me realise that I must improve my diet, whatever it may take.
