Jackie is right, being a veggie is almost half way there. The strict diet is mostly just green veg and eggs so you should be fine. Swap the noodles / rice for chopped up spring greens or cabbage, and a stir fry is still just as filling.
I know kicking the carb habit is hard, but from my own experience and what I’ve read on this forum, you really really won’t get better until you make a serious commitment to sticking to the diet. That means cutting out ALL starches and sugars.
In some ways it’s easier to not have any at all than just have a little bit anyway. It saves on willpower if you just don’t buy things you shouldn’t have.
