I used to get heartburn earlier in my treatment, I also experienced heart palpitations and lots of heart woes; its all because of die-off. Diet can cause it to, so if you get it after eating something specifically, that is the cause right there.
One thing that might improve your skin is sweating out the toxins via a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, hot bath, etc…this can completely eliminate or reduce die-off symptoms and can help your skin as well. Vitamin C (with bioflavanoids) can help with your skin as well.
Another reason you might be experiencing skin woes is that your liver or other organ is damaged and cannot function properly (or as good as possible). A naturopath could determine what is causing it and hopefully prescribe you a supplement that will heal your skin and organ that is damaged.
Acupuncture is also very effective for skin conditions, depression, energy problems, etc. Its one of the foundations of my personal protocol and feel that is has a lot of really good healing properties.
So are you not taking any antifungals now (or in the past)? Have you noticed the rash/bumps get worse after antifungals?
What is your diet like? What supplements are you taking? The protocol mentions when to introduce probiotics and antifungals, have you seen it yet?
Thank you for always being so fast at answering!
Nope no beef or pork. And I’ve been trying to figure out what causes the heartburn, but I can’t see any pattern. This morning after eating an omelet (2 eggs, some leaks and spinach), it got worse than any of these other times on the diet. I’ve been eating these kinds of omelets basically every day since I started so it seems strange that it would be this food. I don’t know really, but I guess I’ll have to just keep my eyes open for a pattern..
Since I have been taking hot baths and going to the sauna regularly throughout the diet, I don’t think this could be the problem. I really hope you’re wrong about the liver in my case, but I will check that.
No I am not taking any anti fungal yet, and I haven’t. What I noticed once was that after eating a lot of radishes with very little coconut oil, I got a reaction that same night which I think might have been die off. Those rashes and bumps started itching like CRAZY and I got this dry cough which wouldn’t stop.
About my diet, I started with the cleanse for two days (almost three) and then started the strict diet. Yes I have seen the protocol and the strict diet, and I have been following these. I have been (and I am) taking probiotics. But like I said, since I already experienced die off symptoms from the start, I didn’t want to exhaust my body with more die off by taking antifungals. I have been adding things to my diet according to the test method mentioned in the strict diet.
So I have added chicken and sardines to my diet. And also coconut flour, buckwheat and teff. I actually haven’t have much coconut flour and teff (I only tested them), but more buckwheat. The itching started before these, but I think I’ll stay away from buckwheat for a week or so just to see if it might make a change..
I eat a lot of veggies. And I make my own mayo (applecidervinegar and no mustard) and my own yogurt. I am trying to get kefirgrains, but the lady who was gonna get me some got ill, and it seems like it’s taking a while..
