This isn’t exactly a foolproof reference, but somebody who researched candida-friendly pectin sources a bit more than me made a post here. He agrees that raspberries are the most appropriate source. Certainly, if you were already eating apples, they’d be fine, but the decision to add them is ultimately up to you. Personally, I don’t think the amount of sugar in a serving is enough to cause a problem given the benefits, like with kefir, yoghurt etc.
