Here’s my advice. Take it for what you think it’s worth.
Any protocol focused on just eradicating candida is doomed to fail. Candida is only one aspect of your overall health condition. People who just focus on candida never seem to get well. It’s the people who recover and restore their immune system and methylation cycle who are the ones that recover. I don’t think you’ve explicitly outlined your expectations in this thread, but I’m assuming your goal is to be at 100% health, no food sensitivities, no special diet necessary, no fatigue, no acne. If you go down the antifungal route with the Nystatin for an extended period of time you are sure to eradicate some candida/yeast. You will probably see a reduction in your acne, food sensitivities, and fatigue levels, but you won’t be 100%. Who’s to say how much it will help you? For me, I only saw a marginal difference. One thing I can say with extreme confidence though, is that it will not “cure” you. Your symptoms might become more manageable, but if you go off your diet your symptoms will come creeping back.
My doctor always said from the beginning that my immune function is compromised so that’s what we’ve been working on this whole time. He’s not just focusing on the candida. Yes you got my goals right, I want to be at 100% perfect health, and feel good with no fatigue, anxiety, acne or depression. Also my doctor treats lots of kids with autism. I don’t know the success rate he has, but I think it’s high because he was invited to be a speaker at the Jenny McCarthy autism conference (don’t know the exact name if it.) Autism is one of his specialties, and he wrote a book on it: http://www.thewellnesswaystore.com/img/cms/autism-game-plan-book.pdf
This is why I’ve decided to trust his recommendations for me.
