Yes, if you are allergic to any food item, avoid it if possible.
For instance I am still allergic to the following food ingredients:
4)alcohol and distilled foods (vinegar, soy, etc)
If I were to eat any of these food items, it’d set back my recovery. For instance, I recently cheated and ate chinese food. The salt, soy, and sugar really set me back and it was a mistake that I won’t make again for many weeks. Even though I have done the diet for 7 months, I still have leaky gut a little bit.
