However with the yogurt I don’t feel that confident since the sugars listed are quite high in the nutritional facts. I don’t want to go backwards. What can I do going forward?
Dairy products are known to exacerbate acne/skin problems. It’s also mucous forming and not particularly healthy due to the pasteurization and chemical additives that are added during the manufacturing process. I read a book covering this subject before I knew about my Candida condition. This is one of the reasons generally avoid dairy products as much as possible. If you end up making your own kefir, I highly recommend doing so with goat’s milk because its chemical composition is very close with human milk and therefore, more digestible along with other nutritional benefits. Cocunut and almond milk are additional options. Kimchee and saurkraut are also good alternatives because they provide other health benefits such as the fact ingredients like cabbages and garlic are antifungal. Personally, I would I would experiment with everything, homemade kefir, kimchee and sauerkraut at this stage and figure out what’s the best for you. That’s what I’m doing
