I’ve always struggled with a mild case of social phobia. Up until recently I just chalked it up to being shy…although I was not at all a shy child it seemed as I got older I got more socially awkward. I can say for my self that the anti candida diet has helped my social anxiety tremendously! I still struggle with pursuing people but I’m now able to get out and put myself in social situations that I would have avoided previously.
I think for me this seems to stem out of the lack of motivation I get when the candida is out of control. If I’ve accidentally eaten something that feeds candida I get that sluggish, no motivation to do anything or see anyone feeling. When I’m eating like I’m supposed to the increased energy and higher self esteem seems to help me not avoid people as much.
