If you do decide to use melatonin, it would be wise to add in the seratonin precursors. Seratonin is the precursor of melatonin and melatonin as such is part of the bio feedback loop involved in the process of making seratonin. Basically, supplementing melatonin decreases seratonin. A small amount like 1 or 2 mg might be ok, I used to get away with 3, but I probably would have been better off with another protocol.
This could I guess be used to your advantage if your a MAO A mutant and having emotional problems while rolling into the throttle of a methylation protocol. Hmm.
