HOLY. SHIT. It’s the best thing ever!!
So we didn’t quite follow the recipe – we definitely double the amount of sauce and added a little more water to the dough. Also, if you don’t spread the sauce all the way to the edge of the crust, it actually makes crust on the end, like “real” pizza!! The boyfriend said that it’s the closest thing to “real” pizza he’s had from the 7 jillion gluten-free pizza attempts that we’ve made over the last year and a half. I fried some onions for a topping and that went really well with the pesto. Also, we put 1 spinach leaf in the pesto and that rounded out the nutritional yeast. Next time, I would definitely use maybe 1tbsp instead of 3, it was pretty strong.
