I am setting up appointment for this. Also should I ask for a candida complex antibodies blood test. I had a blood test done in august. IgM negative, IgA-positive 1.4, the other one was negative too (can’t remember the letters). What should I be asking for? Am I on the right track with this? The allergist should be able to figure out why immune system is haywire, right? They also said if the intra-dermal is negative we wouldn’t need the delayed sensitivity..are they right?
You need the delayed sensitivity test. They need to know if your immune system attacks candida or not. The intradermal test doesn’t show it.
Mold is one thing and candida albicans extract is another. You only don’t need to know if you react to mold but candida albicans. It looks like your Allergist isn’t familiar with this business.
