Hello, Jo. I doubt seriously if you would receive more of a die-off reaction from buckwheat than any other natural prebiotic-food source such as artichokes, garlic or avocados.
Anytime you introduce a new food to the diet, there’s a chance that you will experience some type of reaction; I know I did for quite some time. Unfortunately, there’s no way of knowing for certain the reason this happens, unless the reactions continue and grow worse each time you have more of the source. In this case, I would forego an attempt at introducing the food until later during the treatment.
