With a Candida overgrowth, normally speaking, cold hands and feet are a symptom of hypothyroidism which in turn is a symptom of a Candida overgrowth. As the population of the Candida shrinks, all the problems caused by the overgrowth begin to lessen in severity. This normally would include a malfunctioning thyroid gland unless there was permanent damage to the organ.
Basically, hypothyroidism as well as many other side-effects of a Candida overgrowth are caused by mineral deficiencies, which is one of the most common symptoms of a Candida overgrowth. The perfect scenario for anyone who suffers from a Candida infestation would be to have
a hair mineral analysis which would tell you exactly which minerals need to be supplemented.
Smitty, what you’ve described is basically a clue that your infestation is shrinking in size, so, it looks like some congratulations are in order.
