B6 and B1 is known to help the stomach produce acidity which is very important to balance on the diet. Folic acid has anti-inflammatory effects on the gut. My candida was so horrible I had hair loss, taking b vitamins really helps clear my thrush as well. I take 1 pill of each as I buy them separately which is not expensive at all. Maybe $5 per bottle and they last be 2 months. I don’t think I could have really moved forward without them. 18mg of iron a day is a must for me as well. We are all at different stages, I personally can’t live a normal life without b vitamins and iron, maybe i have candida for a different reason than you. I noticed the post above says to take magnesium. Has anyone ever had a negative effect? Whenever I take magnesium alone my thrush is worse the next day. Could it be competing with something else i need like iron? You need to be careful with supplements.
Magnesium stimulates germ tube formations and is part of the biofilm’s matrix. Iron, and calcium are also used by the fungus to create biofilm communities.
