I agree, you don’t need to buy a steamer, you most likely have something which will work just fine.
Personally, I steam veggies by placing them in a strainer/colander and place it over a pot of boiling water. Or, if you have one of those Chinese rice steamers which includes a top rack to steam veggies over, you can forget cooking the rice and just use the device as a veggie steamer.
FYI – it’s not all garlic is antifungal……for instance the supplement pills. It’s the allicin contained in Garlic which has the antifungal properties. Thus, fresh is better but, since I’m very garlic sensitive (one of my candida symptoms), I use odorless Garlic pills which contain allicin.
