(I know it sucks, believe me drinking especially in the summer and for special occasions is so social). Vodka is the best and I would have it with half pure cranberry juice and half water but again, if you can wait until after the party..a few weeks from now when most of the yeast is gone that would be best. Wine is my favourite and it is full of sugar so I will have to wait a long time to bring that slowly back in on weekends 🙂 I hate how wine doesn’t taste sweet but contains sugar..same as carbs and white rice and all that fun stuff 🙁

cranberry juice? what kind of advice is that – it has sugar so a no-go. You shouldnt drink alcohol, if vodka has literally 0 carbs, I guess it would be the least bad decision.
