Prebiotic foods spend a long time in the colon. As long as you make them a part of your diet, they’ll be available to the probiotic bacteria in the capsules you swallow. You could supplement something like FOS or inulin if you wanted to be more thorough, but I’d make sure you can tolerate these foods first.
