    Because of ringing in my ears I went to a nutritionist. She insisted I needed to add whey protein to my diet. (I’m temporally off eggs) I know Whey isn’t in the protocol, but how bad would it be if I started using it? I’m thinking about using it after workouts especially.

    A serving with 27g of protein has about 2g of lactose. If you digest lactose well, you’d probably burn it instantly after a workout. You’d need to test for a reaction though.

    If you’re not eating many carbs and doing exercise, protein is vital, or you’ll literally be burning muscle for energy. Other people here are using hemp protein, but I don’t know much about it.
