Hey guys, I just got my water kefir grains in the mail today. I ordered them from a lady in Ontario which isn’t very far away from me. Only probably a 2 or 3 day trip in the mail to get to me.
So they came already wet and hydrated, they weren’t dry. Does this mean I can start using them right away? I have them in a quart mason jar with 1/4 cup of organic sugar and I plan on leaving them there until Saturday night.
I’ve read a lot about the rehydration process but this seems to apply to dry water grains and not hydrated ones already?
I’d like to get started as soon as possible drinking it.
I guess the easiest way to know would be to test it and see if it tastes sour on Saturday?
