Just asking to see if these things are allowed on the diet.

    – Tellicherry Black Pepper
    – Paprika
    – Cayenne

I picked up some of Purica Fiberlicous Inulin Powder dervied from Chicory Root at the health food store the other day.

Here is the link to it. http://www.purica.com/fiberlicious.htm

Able, is this a prebiotic that is okay to use? I did a search on the forum and saw there was a bit of controversy over inulin powder. I am currently eating lots of raw aparagus, garlic, and onions. I wanted to boost my prebiotics further by taking a herb and this was all they had at the health food store.

This is my story so far.

I would do inulin earlier in your treatment but not later in your treatment. If you have leaky gut, its basically the best thing that will heal it.

I had paprika earlier in my treatment and I think its too spicy for the diet personally; spicy foods should be limited because they can set back your recovery from my experience. Once I removed paprika I started to heal a lot faster.

Black pepper should be fine but in high quantities it can be spicy.
