    Hi everyone,

    I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this olive spread would be ok to eat on the candida diet please?

    The ingredients sound alright, although there’s no way of knowing what the description “Natural Flavouring” is in reference to. I wouldn’t want to eat a lot at one time. If you eat it, be sure to watch for reactions.

    thanks able, yer that natural flavouring part sounds a bit iffy, ill give it a try in small amounts and see how i get on.

    The way processed foods are made today – I don’t trust anything. Do you have a food processor? If not – just chop everything up with a knife – finely. Olive tapanade has lots of beneficial ingredients in it.

    •1/2 cup black olives Kalamatas are best – black olives if more you like mild
    •1/2 cup green olives Seedless & no stuffing
    •1 tablespoon capers (optional)
    •2 cloves garlic
    •2 tablespoons olive oil
    •1 teaspoon lemon juice
    •1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
