Im new to this site and to the Candida Diet. If anyone has any suggestions to make the cleansing stage eaiser. Please let me know. I ama very big sugar eater and its only been 1 day and my cravings are unbeleivable. But Im so determined that its not going to beat me. But the old brain is in overdrive on telling me how much I need sugar like chocolate and chips and sugar in tea and coffee. grrr ! but so far I have not succumbed and thats a great start for me as I have tried this all before and only lasted a few hours.. So if you have any recepies or advice please do tell. Thanks

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
I can tell you that if you will force yourself to get through the first 72 hours, your body will begin to adapt to existing without access carbohydrates and sugar and doing so will become easier, at least that’s what biology tells us about the human body.
However, you will still continue to experience hunger to a degree because you have a Candida infestation, even when you eat plentiful amounts of food. You can trust that this is not your body which is actually hungering for food, but rather the Candida which will by then be in dire need of the food which you have allowed it to become accustomed to. Once you have reduced the number of Candida sufficiently, the intense hunger will begin to lessen as well. To help you understand the hunger feeling, please read the following post.
