    Are Lentils okay on the diet? I can’t seem to find the answer on any of the posts. Some help please. Thanks!

    Like beans, you should not eat them on the early stages of the diet.

    I would avoid lentils at all cost as they are estrogenic.

    I’d side with princeofsin on this one. Oestrogens are a treat for yeasts, and phytates also interfere with mineral absorption. Cooking the hell out of lentils can help reduce the junk in them though. So can soaking/sprouting them before cooking. Look at the effort traditional cultures go to cook them, and follow their lead.
